Charles Fisher

Charles Fisher

Director of Pro Development

Charles Fisher was a former college standout and graduate of West Virginia University. Fisher was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round (33rd overall) in the 1999 NFL Draft. As a rookie in 1999, Fisher was considered the Bengals future at cornerback winning one of two starting positions in his first season.

Although he was injured early in his professional career, Charles stayed involved in the game. He had talent well beyond what he brought to the field, and as a result he created a very successful career as an NFL executive/scout.

In his role as an NFL scout, Charles was at the forefront of talent selection. During the college season he was on the road seven days a week meeting with prospective NFL talent. He's been in the war rooms during the NFL drafts and he's participated in the Scouting Combine.

After an initial scouting position with the Green Bay Packer organization, Charles spent seven years scouting colleges and evaluating potential professional talent for what he describes as a "character" team. The Seattle Seahawks organization recognized Charles' rare ability to get past the stats and pure athleticism to the real heart, soul, and personal character of a potential professional.

Charles brings both an understanding of the game and business to Jockbiz. His unique experience, both on the field and in the front office, has given Charles great perspective on the game and its players
